Mallory played on the 7th-8th grade soccer team. They had to combine ages, because other schools in the district did not have enough players for separate teams. Mallory loves soccer, and she played goalie all year. Her friend Savannah and Mallory switched off the goalie position each quarter throughout the season. Then she got to play several other positions throughout the season during the off quarters (from being goalie). Her favorite position is forward, but the team had a few "CLUB PLAYERS" who were used to playing forward as a team. The coach tended to keep them in the front to score. Mallory didn't get to play forward as much as she would have liked, but she still had fun! She played awesome, and it was fun to watch. She will try out for High School soccer when the season starts.
