It was quite cold and quite windy on this day, but ARIZONA PEOPLE do not care. We still wanted to experience the beach. We only had to drive 5 minutes from our campsite to get to Mission Beach. We took our bikes, so that we could experience riding on the boardwalk (loved that part). Then the kiddos were ready to try the water. It was super cold, but they still did it. Kenny rented a boogie board and a skin board. They played on those for quite sometime. We even met some other CRAZY people from Arizona who didn't care that the water was freezing. They were from Gilbert also, and Tanner made a friend. It was not all that fun when it was time to go, because everyone was freezing cold. We didn't plan that part out very well. But, it was a good excuse to stop at a shop to buy souvenirs. Everyone needed a dry set of clothes/hoodie for the bike ride back to the truck. They loved the beach, and they wanted to go back the next day (which was even colder). I couldn't bare it again. Kenny had to by me a Mexican Poncho for warmth. We cuddled together on the beach and watched the kiddos act crazy!!!
