May 2012 was a VERY busy time. We had so many activities in this month: band, NJHS, Tanner's bday, Talent show, Mallory's dance, Mallory's promotion, and so much more. But, one of the highlights was the fact that Mallory would be promoted to HIGH SCHOOL!. She had attended San Tan Elementary since Kindergarten. She was moving on, and it was a little surreal to her parents. The last week of school was filled with Promotion activities and "firsts" for her. She got her nails done for the FIRST time (she only liked them for a week). She wore her FIRST pair of high heels (she practiced for weeks). She had her FIRST semi-formal dance (looked adorable). She had her FIRST graduation (type) ceremony. She went on her FIRST trip with a friend (5 days to the lake). It is hard for me each time there is a "first", because I know that she is growing up each time I allow her something new and special. I think it will always be that way with my first born. But, she is such a good girl, a beautiful girl, and she has had a wonderful ride in Elementary School. ONWARD TO HIGH SCHOOL!
