It is hard to believe that our GIRLIE GIRLIE is 12 years old. She is a such a super sweet 12 year old. She is very particular about how things should be. She is a "rule" follower, and she expects others to be also; and at 12 years old.......it is hard to be a "rule" follower. I hope that she sticks with that belief. She was a bit nervous to start school, because now she would be an official MIDDLE-SCHOOLER. This would mean switching classes, plus an Accelerated Language Arts class. Her birthday always falls the first few days of school. So, for her official b-day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner (with a special dessert). The kiddos bought her some Aeropostal shirts (she had been begging for some), and We got her some makeup. This is the first year that she was allowed to use make-up, so it was a special treat. We had to wait a bit for her family b-day party. So, we had a family gathering here at the house. Grammy and Papa brought one of her most favorite things (slushies from EEGEES). We had yummy food and she received lots of money and gift-cards. We went shopping the very next day! She was so excited to go spend her money. She literally spent it down to the last DOLLAR. So cute! One of the most transforming gifts was her INSTYLER straightening iron. It made her normally super curly hair, completely flat and straight. She looks so grown up when she does it. Thanks for all of the special gifts!
