This is Aubrey's 3rd time getting her ears pierced! We are hoping that this is it? First time, she was 2 1/2. She saw her sister get her ears done, so she wanted to do it also. I still remember the look on her face when they did it. It was a look of, "why did you let me do this". I felt so sad. She then got an infected ear (as we learned that she needed gold earrings only). AS, we finally got the earrings off.........she cried. She never wanted them again. Then when she was 7, she asked Nana to pierce them. Those she let close in, because she didn't want to wear the "special earrings". So, now she is 10 1/2; and we hope 3rd time is a charm! She looks beautiful! Nana and Daddy pierced her ears with 14 ct. gold earrings. So far so good!
