Some birthdays last a day, some get to happen as a 1/2 birthday months before the actual even, some barely last a dinner, but Tanner's lasted over a week! On Tuesday, May 4th we took donuts to school to celebrate Tanner's 8th birthday. After school, we rushed to the movies to see "The Tooth-Fairy". Tanner got to choose his favorite place for dinner, and thank heaven it was SOMEBURROS (my favorite too). He then had a "FRIEND PARTY" on that Friday. We rented a jumpy castle, snow cone maker, and art spinner for his "Basketball themed party". The jumpy castle had a hoop inside, and we brought our hoop to the backyard. We had 11 youngsters in our backyard, and it was a fun, wild, and crazy time! I thought that 2 1/2 hours may not be enough time, but after an hour.........Kenny and I were already beat. Even Mallory and Aubrey helped out by working the snow cone or art making centers. It was actually super fun for all! I even tried to make a basketball cake. Then Tanner had his best friend Cameron stay the night! The following day Kenny took the boys to see "Iron Man 2".
