The Snowy Day!

Tanner and his camo-jacket!
See how he can be disguised in the tree?

Playing on the snowy playground.

Daddy is ready for a snowball fight!

Mallory is ready too!

Playground fun!

Only Kenny, Mallory and I had snow boots on.

Tanner just kept going and going .

That is me at the top of the hill. I did go down,
but there was not a good/clear photo of me.....
DARN!!!

Aubrey is a little dare-devil.

Here is the crew getting ready to come down
the hill.

First Tanner and Kenny crashed.

Then Aubrey crashed!

Aubrey was so super dirty!
On a total spur of the moment; we decided to go see the snow. We didn't even leave until noon, and we had no idea where we were going to go. We decided that it was an adventure, and that we had no time frame............so were weren't lost. We started to head towards Flagstaff; then we looked over toward the east and saw a "storm a brewin' ". So, we changed directions to go towards Payson. It was like "Tornado Chaser" show. We were chasin' the snow. As we got close to Fort McDowell Casino; the snow started. Then the further up we went it stopped. As we got into Payson it was clearly a "SNOWY DAY". It was snowing all day (I guess for 12 hours straight). We went to the town park to play in the snow. Then we realized that the kiddos were getting too wet on their feet. So, we went to Walmart in Payson to get some snow boots and sleds. We headed back to the park to sled for awhile. It was so beautiful, so fun, and so cold! When we finished, we all changed clothes (thank heaven I had everyone bring a full on set of NEW clothes). Then we went to Chili's for some dinner and warmth! By this time it was 5:00 in the evening. As we headed out of town, we were delayed for 2 hours. There were wrecks on the highway due to BLACK ICE. We waiting at the Casino in our super warm Tahoe, with snuggies on, and a movie going the whole 2 hours. Finally we were on the road around 8:00. It was 12 degrees outside.....soooooo cold. We drove very slowly, and we got a bit of that BLACK ICE. But, we got home safe and sound. It was a super fun day!
