Grammie Lin and Papa stayed the night with us (as they have for several years). The kiddos love to have them stay the night on Christmas. It is fun to have extra family at the house on Christmas Morning! The kiddos had a whole plan about what time they would wake up. They had been concocting this plan for days. Aubrey was trying to have the "shortest day ever" on Christmas Eve, because she couldn't wait for Christmas Morning. They all wanted to go right to bed once we got home from "The Morgan's House". We had just enough time to put out Santa Cookies and Milk, and then they were down for the night. I didn't even get to read the Christmas Story (as we always do) or read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" (as we always do). They wanted to go straight to bed! They woke at 6:00. I tried to push them back to 6:30, but Grammie, Papa, and Daddy were already up. So, we yelled downstairs "Does it look like Santa showed up?" They said "YES"! So, they ran down the stairs. Waiting for them in the family room; were their "Santa Gifts and Stockings". Mallory got an IPOD. Aubrey got a DS in a blue box with a yellow ribbon (as her letter specified). Tanner got a BB gun! We then moved into the living room to see the other presents. It was a great morning! It was over very quickly, and we were ready for breakfast (egg burritos).
