Aubrey has decided that the Baritone is "her" instrument. She has been practicing all year with her band class. There are only 2 baritones, and she is the BEST! She actually kinda carries the whole bass brass section. She is very confident, loud, and strong with her music. It is a funny instrument (no doubt), but it is really fun to hear her play it. She takes her learning SUPER seriously, so she doesn't miss a moment of her practice. She practices every night, and sometimes all throughout the weekend too. She learned to play the JAWS THEME, which is her favorite movie! So, when the concert came up over the Christmas Holiday; we couldn't wait to go see her in action. She was excited too, because most of her practice had just been with the brass instruments. They had just recently all meshed together with the other instruments. She was thrilled to get to perform with all of the band members. And, it sounded wonderful! I could definitely hear her. Nana and Tata came to watch. Then we all went to celebrate at ARRIBA'S....Yum!
