Gifts from her friends! We had to open them before we headed to BIG SURF!
Their first slide! They were waiting to see everyone's
reaction! It was SUPER FAST! It almost took your
swimsuit right off.
We have a LONG standing tradition. One year you get a friend party, and the next year you DON'T! It was supposed to be 1 year a friend party, and the next year a family party. But, we have had a "FAMILY" party every year for every kiddo as long as they have been born. I hope to always do that. Birthdays are special.
However, they do love the year when they get to have a "friend" party. We try to do something different from other years. So, this year, we wen to BIG SURF (remember Big Surf?). We stayed all day long, and it was truly a great time. She invited a few friends, and they did their thing....we did our thing (which was mostly the wave pool).
It started off as an over-cast day, so I think it keep people away for a bit. The kiddos were able to go on as many slides as they could without much of a wait. It did get a bit busier, but it didn't slow anyone down. They loved it!
