Mallory has a BIG science project due in November. She began last month; and it is an on-going experiment. Her topic is "SOIL EROSION". She decided how she wanted to do the experiments and observations. She used 2 different types of soil to observe the erosion. She has added water to one set of soil, salt water to another set of soil, and today she is using oil. She weighs the soil, weighs the liquid, pours in the liquid, and watches it erode. It is very cool! The salt-water seems to change more quickly than the water. She has been taking pictures all along the way, so that she can show her process to her teacher. She and Kenny are off right now to find some soil and take pictures of erosion seen along canals and such. IT is true, SCIENCE IS FUN!!!
